State of the Coast is the largest gathering of scientists, policy-makers, planners, business interests and citizens concerned with the future of the Louisiana coast.
State of the Coast 2012 provided a massive program of 236 total presentations, covering the latest innovations, methods and plans to address the issue of coastal land loss in Louisiana. Networking, sharing ideas and creating partnerships are key elements of a State of the Coast conference.
Attendees to our State of the Coast conferences represent a diverse spectrum of coastal interests:
Scientists and coastal researchers
Elected officials and government agency representatives (federal, state and local)
Coastal business owners and representatives (energy, fisheries, navigation, tourism, etc.)
Land owners and managers
Environmental and wildlife advocates
Sportsmen and recreational interests
Advocates of Louisiana culture
State of the Coast takes great pride in creating a program that provides value for a wide spectrum of attendees. We look forward to including you in our next event!
