State of the Coast 2012 was a tremendous success again this year, with more than 850 attendees joining us for three days in New Orleans. State of the Coast 2012 was the largest and most comprehensive forum on the protection and restoration of Louisiana's coast in history!
112 presentations, 122 posters, 70 exhibitors, 3 keynote speeches and 2 plenary sessions helped make State of the Coast 2012 the world’s most informative and complete gathering of ideas and methods to address coastal land loss in Louisiana.
And we are not stopping there… planning is already underway for the next State of the Coast conference! Please help us make our next event even better by filling out this short evaluation. It only takes a minute or two, and your opinion is very important to us.
Come back to this site frequently in the months ahead as we will be providing content from State of the Coast 2012, including notes and support materials from our concurrent sessions, photographs from the conference, our proceedings document and video from our keynote speeches and plenary sessions. We will also begin to reveal details on our next State of the Coast conference on this site as soon as information becomes available!
The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL) and Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana (CPRA) thank all those who attended State of the Coast, especially our outstanding sponsors and exhibitors, and those who contributed to making this event a rewarding experience for all.
