Registration for state of the coast 2027 is open

State of the Coast is the largest gathering of scientists, policymakers, planners, business interests, students and residents concerned with the future of the Louisiana coast. Anyone interested in discussing how we restore, protect and live along Louisiana’s coast is encouraged to attend.   

The conference will take place May 11-13, 2027, in Hall I of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

Scholarships & Volunteer Opportunities

There are opportunities for students and community members to have their registration fees waived for SOC. It is the planning team’s desire that community and student scholarships and student volunteer opportunities reduce or eliminate any financial barriers that would otherwise prevent students, emerging coastal leaders or key coastal stakeholders from attending SOC.

Apply for a scholarship or volunteer role by December 14 to guarantee the earliest possible decision for your application. Any applications received after December 14 will be assessed on a rolling basis until all scholarships have been awarded or all positions have been filled.
