Apply for a Scholarship to SOC 2027
There are opportunities for students and community members to have their registration fees waived or reduced for State of the Coast 2027. It is the planning team’s desire that scholarships reduce or eliminate any financial barriers that would otherwise prevent students, emerging coastal leaders or key coastal stakeholders from attending SOC.
Whether you’re a high school, undergraduate or graduate student, a community organizer, an artist exploring our changing coast or a resident interested in deepening your understanding of coastal issues, you are welcome to apply. Extra consideration is given to applicants who have submitted a program proposal and have been invited to present at SOC. However, presenting at SOC is not a prerequisite for applying for a scholarship. You may fill out the application for yourself or on behalf of someone you wish to nominate. Scholarships for one-day registration and three-day registration are available.
Click here to apply for a scholarship. Apply by December 14 to guarantee the earliest possible decision for your application. Any applications received after December 14 will be assessed on a rolling basis until all positions have been filled.
